Here’s to a Creative year ahead!
Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a great New Years, whatever you did! Mine was super exciting (in bed with the lurgy) :P
I’m feeling really motivated at the moment, especially work-wise. Hence a rare blog post! I have plans for the year ahead regarding this site, my work and just stuff in general. I’m hoping to get regular blog posts up too - I never use this section of SquareSpace, and it’s a shame, really - as I used to love blogging back in the day. Even if no-one actually reads it -it’s nice to keep a public diary of what I’m up to.
So today I’m sharing my first make of 2024! Meet Claude!
Claude started life as every other amigurumi I design - a random idea, late at night when I’m trying to sleep.
A bit about Claude!
Claude is here to entertain! Well, not really. With his clown outfit and funny demeanour, you’d be expecting an extroverted soul - full of confidence and bravado.
But deep down Claude is anything but. He’s nervous, shy and sometimes a little bit sad. It’s always the comedians - the entertainers - that hide their strugggles the best.
But he’s doing his best! And that’s all you can ask of anyone, right? Proud of you, Claude!
Loves: Boba Tea, Scented Candles, The Great British Sewing Bee
Hates: Reality TV, Kippers, Crowds
Claude was made with Yarnsmiths Create DK, 100% acrylic yarn. He stands at roughly 8 inches/20 cm tall and his outfit is fully removable.
I’m really liking Yarnsmiths Create DK yarn at the moment. They came out with a whole new 120 shade collection before Christmas - the possibilities for different and exciting colour combos is limitless! I really enjoyed playing around with the colours for Claude.
I hope you like Claude!
Once again - wishing all my lovely followers and supporters a happy, creative and derpy 2024! Here’s to a good one!
Stay Wonky!
